Good Day Everyone! Today on the day of Toj we honour the fire, and we make offerings and payments. Today the Day Lord Tojil came and gave us fire, and all that he asked in return was that we give thanks and make offerings. Life is a continous cycle of giving and receiving and sometimes we can unintentionally fall out of balance, where we take and forget to give back. Today is a good day to repay debts, to make payments or at least arrangements for the repayment of debts.
The tone today is #13 this is the ancestral and spirit world, so today is a great day to make ammends, or repay family debts, To honour and give thanks for our family lineage and what they have provided and done for us. However at times perhaps our Ancestors may have no acted in right manner, or incurred debts that are passed down energetically in the family for the future generations to clear up, this would be a good day to do it. In the Mayan tradition we take all our prayers, our hopes, our fears and troubles to the fire. We take our tears and our laughter, our turmoil and love to the fire. The fire heals, and transmutes, it helps keep us warm and feeds us both physically and spiritually. We watch and listen to what it has to say. To the teachings it brings.
I ask today we think about what do we want to transform? what to we need to repay? how do we make ammends and put things in balance?
